We love the story of Lilith. She was said to be the woman created by God equally and at the same time as Adam. But Adam didn't want an equal. He wanted a woman who would be subservient to him. So, Lilith exiled herself from the Garden of Eden. Adam went whining to God that he was lonely, so God took a rib from Adam to make Eve, who was now subservient and not equal.
Eve was said to "have eaten from the tree of knowledge" after being tempted by a snake. Do you wonder if that magical talking snake was Lilith? Was she filling Eve in on the knowledge the guys wanted to keep from her? We love women supporting women.
Brass with gold-tone plating and a hinged glass locket to hold a keepsake (a little photo, a clip of hair, a tiny note, whatever you like).
18" long with 3" extension. The locket is protected by an encircling snake. What treasure will you protect?
