Design highlights are a letter of peace in the dove’s beak with the LGBTQ+ pride flag depicted and the word for peace, ‘salam,’ in Arabic. Of course, the dove is carrying a slice of watermelon for the colors of the Palestinian flag and a mark of the continued censorship of the conflict in social media and mainstream media. 🍉

"This took me a long time to decide what I wanted to create, but I knew I needed to do something. After all, art is activism. Though it’s also about recognizing the need for justice for all marginalized people."
