Snake and Poison Plant Ceramic Offering Plate | Oval

This handmade stoneware offering dish is designed for ritual use or altar decoration. Each one is unique and custom-made.

As with the poison path, the snake represents inner growth. The snake has always been associated with the creation biblical story where the snake tricked humans into a lie. In contrast, the witch's path has a positive representation of a snake, one of wisdom and hidden knowledge. 

Mugwort is associated with the moon and enchanted spellwork and dreamworld, and there is also belladonna and datura that the snake is coiling around. The poison plants are Saturnian, and represent the history of flying ointments, spirit communication, and the mystique of the power to heal or harm.
